Adelanto 2040
The plan for Adelanto's future connects jobs, housing, infrastructure, education, workforce, quality of life: build the infrastructure first, then grow into one of the High Desert's leading communities for jobs, investment and great neighborhoods.
Questions, answered
Adelanto's long-term strategy, the Adelanto 2040 vision, connects jobs, housing, infrastructure, education, workforce, quality of life so growth happens with a plan. The goal is to make Adelanto one of the High Desert's leading communities for jobs, investment, innovation and great neighborhoods.
Adelanto has more than 13.3 million square feet of potential industrial development entitled or moving through the entitlement process, with the potential for more than 10,000 new jobs, and over 800 new homes forecasted to be built.
Since 2019, more than $38.6 million has been invested in Adelanto: over $18 million in streets and roads, $11 million in water infrastructure, $5.2 million in sewer and wastewater, and $4.1 million in parks and public facilities.
Adelanto's city motto is "the City with Unlimited Possibilities," and Mayor Gabriel Reyes' plan is about building it into the Gem of the High Desert: good jobs, great neighborhoods and a better future in the Victor Valley region of San Bernardino County.
Our progress is real.
Our momentum is strong.
Our best days are ahead.
The goal isn’t simply to make Adelanto bigger.
Live here.Work here.Play here.Do business here.Build your future here.
The Gem of the High Desert
